“I am always searching for more light and space” as Santiago Calatrava, a Spanish architect and engineer, once said. The “Aurora” Pendants were inspired by the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and by the exterior sculpture of a Star, in front of the Museum, designed by the American artist Frank Stella, combining light and space, in an interesting way.
A Star is a source of Light and Energy, and usually relates to its Celestial meaning, connecting with the Universe. A Star is also a symbol of the Spirit and the Soul and has an inner sense of illumination with its characteristics that irradiate Light and create Life. In some doctrines, it’s a Window to the World, it’s a gate between Heaven and Earth, acquiring almost a sacred meaning.
The “Aurora” Pendants stand as a symbol of “Light”. They are made of silver, with a polished finish, and there are 2 models – the pointed Aurora and the rounded Aurora – each with 30mm in diameter and with an approximate weight of 7,50g in silver certified by "Casa da Moeda", under the License Number T1795, the main official entity that guarantees the quality and authenticity of your Jewels.

The “Aurora” Pendants were inspired by the concept in the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and by the exterior sculpture of a Star, in front of the Museum, designed by the American artist Frank Stella. This Museum was chosen as an inspiration, because of everything it represents – Hope in the Future – and much more. The exterior sculpture in front of the Museum is called the “Puffed Star II”, by the well-known American artist Frank Stella, and its impressive shape inspired us, because it’s a Star that symbolizes the Future, it’s an “Aurora” for the Future.
How we produce your Jewels
On a first stage, its design was produced with a sketch inspired by the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and by the exterior sculpture of a Star, in front of the Museum, designed by the American artist Frank Stella. A second stage followed with 3D Modelling, by using a specific parametric 3D design software – Fusion and AutoCAD – that was applied together with the 3D Printing Technology on a Formlabs 3D Printer producing a castable wax resin piece. On a third stage, this resin piece was handed over to a Jewellery Workshop, to the work of a certified traditional goldsmith that transformed it into a precious silver Jewel. These three steps were carefully executed and monitored with a special attention to every detail, so that the result would be a unique Jewel with a special meaning and top quality.
As a symbol of Light and Energy, Stars have always been an inspiration for many Poets, such as Fernando Pessoa, one of the most important Portuguese Poets, in the 20th century. He describes the Star in this way: “Dream about the Stars, / Just dream, / They can only shine in the sky. / Don’t try to stop the wind, / It needs to run everywhere, / It’s in a hurry to arrive, who knows where. / The tears? / Don’t dry them, / They need to run on my face, / On your face, on everybody’s face. / The smile! / That, you should hold, / Don’t let it go, grab it! / Follow your dream, / But don’t let it live alone. / Feed your Soul with Love, / Heal your wounds with affection. / Discover yourself every day, / Let yourself go by the will, / But don’t go crazy for them. / Fill your heart with Faith, / Don’t loose it ever. …”
